Turks Protest Against the Film 'Innocence of Muslims'

So much for the Turks being so civilised and European. It seems they're just a bunch of savages like all the rest. Who'd have thunk?

Some 300 people gather outside one of Istanbul's main mosques on Friday protesting a film they say insults the Prophet Mohammad. They chanted anti-US slogans and waved placards reading "God damn America" and "The United States is responsible for what happened" outside Beyazit Mosque.

  4. How about tens of thousands of neo-nazis in Germany? How about dismissing Germany from E.U. because of the murderous fascists living there? Or better, how 'bout excluding you from humanity for being so incredibly stupid? Neo-nazis actually kill people unlike the 300 peaceful protestors in Turkey who basically just, umm, walked? And you're very angry and offended because they walked? Collect your pink purse, honey. And go get your brain checked. Because, okay i'm gonna break this to you gently; BECAUSE YOU ARE A FUCKTARD. There.

  5. "Protesting" is a democratic right. I don't support them but it is a democratic right.

  6. And each year, a gay pride is held in Istanbul with more than 10.000 people. So does that mean that Turkey is one of the least homophobic countries? Unfortunately not.

  8. I see those women chanting with their thumbs up!!! I think this was translated wrong, it looks like they like the movie and not against it.
Notice the camera shows the most beautiful of them all, with green eyes. I bet she/her parent(s)/or grand parent(s) were converted from Christianity to islam. Poor thing.

  9. The very fact that even 'nasty' protests are allowed is a sign of freedom of speech. 300 people is hardly a good enough sample to make generalisations about the 'savage' Turks. The very fact that you hold a double standard of humanity, and think that 'civilisation' could be threatened by the Turks shows how much of a barbarian you truly are.
